After the Bills took a one-point lead late in Sunday’s game Bills fans in attendance at Nissan Stadium, of which there was significantly more than a smattering, began the ‘Let’s go Buffalo!’ chant. And though the win was in every way a squeaker, Rex Ryan and his players were aware of their fans presence.
“We noticed them. You couldn’t get into a restaurant yesterday with all those Bills fans,” said Ryan. “It was awesome. I guess something I’m learning is I had no idea that the Bills fans traveled the way they do. (The) Miami (game) was packed. We’ve got them here. It was unbelievable. It’s such a great feeling to know your guys are with you. Your fans who travel so well. That was great. I also love the fact that they ain’t off this boat. They never looked to jump and we gave them reason to and they’re sitting right there and that’s a great feeling.”
